Christ's Church Fellowship International was founded in 1988 by three ministers: Jeff Crabtree, Jim Bevis, and Tom Smith. Our Heritage is from the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement of Churches. Brother Crabtree saw the need for a more Spirit-Filled Fellowship within the Restoration Movement, and was very influenced by the Conference on Spiritual Renewal in the 1980's. In its heyday more than 30 churches were started here in America, and about 1,000 more planted in African nations, and also 20 churches in
St. Petersburg, Russia.
Christ's Church Fellowship International churches have these distinctives:
Mission-Minded-- Preaching the Good News of the Bible that Jesus saves today!
Liturgical -- Celebrating the Lord's Supper every Sunday and Baptizing every believer!
Spirit-Filled-- That the Fruit of the Spirit are found in every true Believer in Christ. The Gifts of the Spirit are for every Believer and are for today, not just the First Century Christians. The Holy Spirit of God will give Spiritual Gifts according to His will.

Essentially, we are a type of "Convergent Church", which indeed the First Century Christians were:
Mission-Minded, Liturgical, and Spirit-filled!
We are also newly Egalitarian, since one of our new overseers is an older experienced Woman in Ministry.
We accept both men and women into the Ministry of Jesus Christ.

Monique LeMaire has been in ministry since the Lord called her to work for Him! Originally ordained with the United Christian Ministries International in 2004, and again with Christ's Church Fellowship International by David Holdridge in 2014. She loves to serve the Lord in a variety of ways. Her education is thus: Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Salve Regina University,
Associate of Arts in Music also from SRU, Bachelor of Christian Ministry from the United Christian Ministry Institute, Diploma in Chaplaincy also from U.C.M.I. She started her Masters Degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary at the Boston Campus, and continues her Masters in Theological Studies degree with Nations University. She has also completed a Masters of Arts in Christian Ministry: Biblical Counseling with Cane Ridge Ministers Academy & Seminary.
Paul LeMaire was Ordained into ministry later in life in 2014. His education includes a Bachelor in Science Degree in Industrial Education, and Graduate Studies in Education from Central Connecticut State University. Paul has also received the Masters in Christian Education (h.c.) from Cane Ridge Ministers Academy & Seminary. He has been certified to teach in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Monique and Paul serve as a "dynamic duo brother and sister combo"!! We are here to help, train, and encourage the Body of Christ to serve the Lord Jesus in whatever capacity He has called YOU to! The Apostle James wrote: "Be a do-er of the Word...."
We encourage all to be the "hands, feet, mouth, ears...of the Lord...we are the Body of Christ -- the church -- we must be His Ambassadors! Let's do what the First Century Christians did: "turn this world upside down" for the cause of Christ! (Read Acts 17:6KJV)
