2018: Christ's church fellowship is celebrating its 30th anniversary!
For thirty years Christ's Church Fellowship has done a lot of ministry! Here is a simple chronology of "The Ministry":
1988: Jeff Crabtree, Jim Bevis, and Tom Smith establish Christ's Church Fellowship International as a new fellowship within the Heritage of the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement. Its goal -- to see the Holy Spirit revive churches across the nation. CCFI's theme has always been "Connection." We must stay connected to God, one another, and see more churches uniting in the bonds of the leading of the Holy Spirit.
About 50 new churches were started in the Mid-West of the United States, mostly by Jeff Crabtree.
Jim Bevis was busy in the Southeast corner of the U.S. establishing churches and trying to bridge the gap with more "connection" between Stone-Campbell churches, Evangelical and Pentecostal Churches.
Paraclete Journal was started to further unite Christians.
Missionaries were sent to St. Petersburg, Russia -- more than twenty churches started by a Missionary and his wife!
Many churches in the African nations were either started by or joined CCF in this idea of "Connection" --
"we can get more done together than alone"!
2002: New Leadership. During the year of 2002 David C. Holdridge established the U.F.O -- the United Food Outreach to help feed hundreds of people in New Mexico!
Mr. Holdridge bridged the gap even more. With his influence CCF was reaching out to Liturgical-style churches.
The CCFI website received over one-million "hits" through Brother David's work.
2014: Paul and Monique LeMaire (a brother and sister team) were chosen by David Holdridge to oversee Christ's Church Fellowship International.
A variety of ministries were initiated:
Mission: American Prisons -- outreach to prisons in Massachusetts, more than 200 inmates became Christians!
Cane Ridge Ministers Academy & Seminary -- CCFI's new school for the training of ministers.
Restoration Biblical Counseling & Associates -- helping Christians with counseling, recovery, and life-coaching.
Also, RBC is training others to become counselors.
CCFI Chaplain Corps -- helping ministers become Institutional Chaplains or Chaplains of Compassion.
Churches started in the Northeast area -- Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York City.
Newly ordained ministers started more ministries, churches and even an Online church!
Praise be to God! To God be the Glory! He has done marvelous things!
We are His Hands, His feet, His mouth, His ears.....let us continue to be workers for the harvest of souls!
